Mission

The mission and vision of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Business Excellence (CEBE) at Howard Community College is to bring entrepreneurship education and new business growth to Howard County.  We serve anyone with a dream and the desire to learn and grow.

Opportunities

You can come to the CEBE to launch a new business or develop a growing one. You can receive academic credit while you build you business in the Center.  There are opportunities for traditional classroom learning, individualized courses, hands-on business experience and professional support services.

You pick the pace and choose among various paths - but the destination remains the same - development of yourself and your ideas.

ENTREPRENEUR SPOTLIGHT

Gold Rush ScanningTrifecta Industries , a service disabled veteran owned small business, is housed in the CEBE.  Jonathan DeWald, Sean Keyman and Joseph Wasserkrug are the leadership team.  Jonathan and Sean are enrolled in HCC classes which assist them in building their business.

Trifecta Industries supplies packaging machines and eco-friendly housing to the Federal government and others.

The eco-friendly homes are manufactured with as little impact on the environment as possible, receiving a 99% "green" rating. Parts are designed to be reused, as are the homes themselves.  These custom homes use photovoltaic generation systems for energy. This process of converting sunlight to electricity completely powers the home with the solar panels from which the roof is constructed. In addition, innovative technology allows for the collection and storage of rainwater, maximizing the effective use of natural resources.

The packaging machines are used by corporations such as Microsoft to send products to retailers and customers worldwide
