One-on-one coaching for the student entrepreneur makes the critical difference in the growth and success of the business. Coaching is in place to provide support, coordinate resources and manage accountability. Entrepreneurship can be lonely and too much independence and freedom can result in misguided choices. Coaches provide the guidance to help the young entrepreneur in the areas.  Student entrepreneurs are provided a business coach and meet regularly with the coach to help ensure the successful launch of their business.    

The mentors who give their time to the program also help the student entrepreneur find their way.  These mentors are experienced business people, community leaders, and entrepreneurs who share their expertise and their wisdom. Often mentors are involved with students in our entrepreneurship classes to assist them in the development of their business concept, analysis of their market research or in the refinement of their “pitch.”  The “pitch” is a short concise statement that explains the nature of the business and why it will be successful.  Often times, student entrepreneurs have this concept in their head but have difficulty expressing it verbally.  The mentor can quickly help them find the words to voice their dream.
